Clinique is a skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance company sold in high-end department stores and owned by Estée Lauder Companies. JD&Co. was tasked with designing engaging and disruptive packaging for their 2020 SOS Kit Program, which consists of 7 make-up kits (plus 2 Asia variants) to meet the needs of consumers at key moments in their lives. Using whimsical, yet edgy and cool sticker-like illustrations (which were all hand-drawn), we created a packaging aesthetic that reflected the everyday-chic feel of Clinique’s SOS Kit series, as well as its core value proposition, i.e., feeling confident and prepared for whatever comes your way.
