Project Overview

Vertage achieved a delicious feat – they created a line of plant-based cheeses that rivaled dairy cheese in both taste and that perfect melty texture. With the help of JD&Co. Design, they set their sights on building a mouthwatering brand.

The Challenge

Created by professional chefs, Vertage sought a visual identity that was culinary, appetizing, and inviting. They also wanted to prioritize a logo and website in order to give potential clients a place to learn about their heart-healthy, non-GMO plant-based cheeses.

The Solution

JD&Co. Design worked closely with Vertage to define their entire brand identity. From their polished fromage-formed logo to their upscale digital presence and packaging, we cooked up branding with chef and consumer appeal.

The website feels as welcoming as the brand, showcasing Vertage’s plant-based cheese in delectable photography paired with serving suggestions.

The Results

With an online presence and ownable branding, Vertage is taking the culinary world by storm. Clients can view Vertage’s current (and growing) menu of plant-based cheeses that are available for wholesale purchase. And they can even get an IRL taste – the restaurant finder shows a list of restaurants currently serving up Vertage cheeses.
