JONG WOO SI

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Jong Woo Si is the Founder & Creative Director of JD&Co. Creative, an independent branding and design studio based in New York. For more than two decades, he has helped organizations build distinctive brands through strategy, identity systems, packaging, campaigns, editorial design, and digital experiences.

His work spans global brands, hospitality, consumer products, beauty, fashion, food & beverage, and emerging businesses. Through JD&Co. Creative, he has partnered with organizations including PepsiCo Design & Innovation, Chipotle, Shake Shack, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, HelloFresh, DFS by LVMH, Moët Hennessy, Ka’Chava, and 33 Hotel NYC, delivering brand systems and creative programs that combine strategic thinking with meticulous execution.

Before founding JD&Co. Creative, Jong Woo worked at leading creative agencies including AR New York, Siegel+Gale, and Ralph Lauren, contributing to projects for clients such as Xfinity, Surface Magazine, Salvatore Ferragamo, USA Today, and The Y. His work has been recognized by PRINT, Communication Arts, Graphis, The One Show, Fast Company, The Dieline, the Type Directors Club, and the REBRAND 100 Global Awards. It has also been featured in international publications and exhibitions, including Essential Elements for Brand Identity, Logotype Book, the AI-AP Illustration Annual, White Columns, and the SVA Gallery.

In addition to his studio practice, Jong Woo serves as a guest lecturer at the School of Visual Arts and the University of New Haven, where he shares his experience in branding, typography, creative strategy, and design systems with the next generation of designers.

Sasha Prood

CO-CREATIVE DIRECTOR, STRATEGY & DESIGN

Building Distinctive Brands Through Strategy, Storytelling and Craft.

Sasha Prood is Co-Creative Director, Strategy & Design at JD&Co. Creative, where she leads brand strategy and creative direction for organizations across hospitality, food and beverage, fashion and beauty, and emerging brands. Blending strategic thinking with visual storytelling, her work spans branding, 360 campaigns, traditional and AI-driven art direction, illustration, and lettering to create brands that are both meaningful and memorable.

Throughout her career, Sasha has built a multidisciplinary practice through independent work, agency collaborations, and in-house creative leadership, developing brand strategies, campaigns, and visual identities for organizations ranging from global companies to emerging businesses. Before joining JD&Co. Creative, she spent over a decade as a professional illustrator and lettering artist represented by leading illustration agencies—an experience that continues to shape her approach to creating identities that are both thoughtfully conceived and visually distinctive.

Alongside her design practice, Sasha is the author of a series of creativity workbooks published by ABRAMS that explore illustration, lettering, and artistic process through a medium-focused lens. She has received recognition from Graphis, Typism, and HOW, and was named one of PRINT Magazine’s 20 Under 30: New Visual Artists. Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in Communication Arts, Forbes, and Women’s Wear Daily, as well as in books including Little Book of Lettering, Los Logos, and Hand-Lettering for Everyone.

A dedicated educator and speaker, Sasha has taught and presented internationally, leading workshops at TYPO Berlin, lecturing at the Type Directors Club, and teaching at the School of Visual Arts. She is passionate about mentoring emerging creatives while exploring the evolving relationship between creativity, technology, and visual communication.
